Physical Therapist

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be a graduate, or have a certificate from an APTA approved school of physical therapy, or a school approved by the World Congress of Physical Therapy.
2. State licensure is required.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Experience in pediatrics preferred.

Physical Therapist Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
2. State licensure is required.
3. Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department, some knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology is necessary.
4. Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
5. Valid driver’s license.
6. Experience in pediatrics preferred.

Occupational Therapist

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an entry level Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
3. State licensure is required.
4. Valid driver’s license.
5. Experience in pediatrics preferred.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Speech-Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Must be licensed to practice in the field of Speech-Lanaguage Pathology, if licensure is required by the state in which employed.
2. Basic knowledge in rehabilitation as well as training and experience in audiology screening.
3. Ability to identify and diagnose communication disorders based on a variety of medical diagnoses. Must be able to determine treatment, with goals and objectives of therapy, and arrange home programs as necessary.
4. Valid driver’s license.
5. Experience in pediatrics preferred.

MAJOR GOAL

To provide a high quality of patient care and customer service to patients referred to B & V Thera-Pro Associates, Corp. for Speech, Language and/or Hearing. Provide family centered services including comprehensive evaluations, treatment and consultations.

Speech & Language Pathology Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree (which includes at least 24 semester hours of educational requirements for assistants).
2. State licensure is required.
3. Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department, some knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology is necessary.
4. Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
5. Valid driver’s license.
6. Experience in pediatrics preferred.

MAJOR GOAL
To provide a high quality of patient care and customer service to patients referred to B & V Thera-Pro Associates, Corp. Provide family centered services including treatment under direct supervision of a supervising speech language pathologist with a clinical certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
